Welcome to my website. Here you will find information about me and some of the projects that I am working on.
My background is simple. I come from a large family of blue collar workers. I spent years trying to get into law enforcement, but always seemed to just barely not make it. I have worked many various types of jobs like fast food, retail, radio disc jockey, and even taught a college course. I have always had an interest in entertainment, but my family comes first. So, I never really pursued a career in the field. I was offered a chance at a television show once (on a Fox affiliate), but I was young and chickened out. I've kicked myself for it ever since. I have written some lyrics for a friend of mine who writes music. I also performed the songs for a sampler CD. One song that I wrote and performed, was aired on the national morning radio show called the 'Big Show with John Boy and Billy'.
I love to draw and write, so I drew a comic strip that ran in several regional newspapers, and did some artwork for advertisements and a musician's CD. I write poetry, short stories, science fiction, and horror. I also have three children's books that I am working on.
My first collection of poetry entitled; 'Many Leaves, A Single Tree', is now available from any fine bookseller either in-store or as special order. My poems are pretty straightforward, but stand out because they are non-traditional and somewhat controversial. These poems range from being funny, insightful, topical, and inspiring. Like a lot of radio "shock jocks", I pulls no punches, but don't use all of that foul language to get my point across. At the same time, I aim to inspire my readers, in the hopes that I might have a positive affect on at least one life.
I hope that everyone who reads this book, enjoys it. I am currently writing book number two (no title yet), but I hope to have it finished by the end of the year.
